About
A farmer’s daughter from West Wales, Bethan has sewn since she was old enough to hold a needle .She was inspired by her mother, an accomplished seamstress who had an exceptional eye for balance and style.
Bethan studied Fashion and Design at Carmarthen Art College and went on to work at Dewhirst, one of the main suppliers to Marks and Spencer and became its Technical Executive. She then joined Marks and Spencer and became Head of Garment Technology for two of its Womenswear brands.
This gave her the opportunity to travel the world gaining invaluable insight into the manufacture of tailored, silk and denim garments.
In 2012 Bethan returned to Wales to realise her dream of creating her eponymous brand and opening her first boutique in her hometown of Carmarthen.
Bethan Jones Boutique is structured into four areas -
-Couture work for private clients.
-Fashion which includes the Bethan Jones brand.
-Lingerie - French lingerie and hosiery.
-Alterations for both ladies and menswear.
